…How it started
After kind of building out an old u-hual and living in that for a few years I decided I wanted to build a truck camper from scratch.
It’s name is 4xPlor and it has been interesting. While the idea was to build on a long wheelbase F-350 or Ram 3500 I couldn’t find a reasonable truck for a reasonable price and then my buddy sent me a link to a GovDeals auction listing.

’91 F-700 that the fire department sent off to Marmon Herrington to uprate and install 4 wheel drive. This was a LOT more truck than I needed but it looked so cool!
The auction listing indicated this old truck had under 12k miles and air conditioning. The air was a mistake but a huge thank you to Cobb County for working with me on the cost of adding it!
